Registration is now open for the second Liberty Interoperable™ test event conducted by Drummond Group Inc. This event will cover the SAML 2.0 specification set.
Test Location: No travel is required. Participants will test over the internet from their own respective sites and communicate daily via conference calls and elist server.
Test Method: DGI uses full matrix testing where all participants run through all the test cases with every other participant in the test.
Test Time: The test event will run 8 weeks from July 14, 2008 to September 5, 2008.
Test Plan: The test plan, vs. 3.1, has been approved by Liberty Technology Expert Group (TEG). It can be found on the Liberty Alliance website under Liberty Interoperable™ Documents or by following this URL.
Test Addition:
- eGov Profile. Last year Liberty offered certification over the optional General Services Administration (GSA) profile. This year the GSA profile has been expanded into the complete eGov profile covering SAML interoperability requirements for the eAuth Federation of the US Government. This is an optional industry profile for GSA and eGov federations which follows the specifications established by GSA. Completion of the eGov profile is a prerequisite requirement for being certified by GSA and entering the eAuth federation deployment.
- Expanded SP and IDP Conformance Mode Requirements. The SP and IDP conformance modes have expanded to include handling multiple SPs in an SLO and multiple IPs in IDP Discovery testing. Full details can be found in the 3.1 test plan.
